The resinous balsam poplar buds give it a deep dark brown colour and a warm sweet smell. No other scents or essential oils are added to this natural soap bar. $CADEach spring we harvest the new leaf growth from wild poplar trees called “poplar buds” and carefully dry them to preserve their natural properties and pleasant aromas. To make this soap wild poplar buds are ground and infused in olive oil and coconut oil. The finely ground poplar buds are still present in the finished product and make this a mildly exfoliating, yet soothing soap bar.
As with any new natural product please test on a small patch of skin prior to use to rule out allergies.
