Wild Bergamot

Wild Bergamot! Other common names for this wonderfully aromatic wild herb are Bee Balm and occasionally “wild Oregano” or “Sweetleaf”.  A tiny pinch of this herb mixed with black tea will give the flavour of the traditional “Earl Grey”. This herb can be used as a tea or a wild spice or garnish for cooking wherever oregano would be used. It is extremely potent and a very small amount goes a long way. The bees love this plant with its purple flowers.
