Raw Organic Shea Butter – is a rich, hydrating ingredient that’s packed with fatty acids. It absorbs rapidly to soothe irritation, restore lipids, and lock in moisture. It will also help plump the skin, offering a more youthful appearance.
Pumpkin Seed Oil – A natural source of salicylic acid, it lightly exfoliates to refine and improve skin texture. Pumpkin seed is a wonderful source of zinc and Omegas 3 & 6, and also helps to improve skin elasticity.
Organic Jojoba, cold-pressed and unrefined, vegan, fair-trade and Kosher certified. Although it looks like oil, Jojoba is actually a liquid wax and one that closely mimics the natural sebum that our skin produces. It penetrates deep into the skin and contains powerful antioxidants, Omega 6 and 9 essential fatty acids and vitamins A, D and E. It is non-clogging for your pores an deeply nourishes and soothes the skin.
Organic Sweet Almond Oil contains Vitamin A. The retinol in vitamin A has the ability to stimulate the production of new skin cells and smooth fine lines.

What is an organic body butter?
At Laughing Lichen we follow the Canadian Organic Standards which are defined here: https://inspection.canada.ca/organic-products/standards/eng/1300368619837/1300368673172. Section 7.6 of The Standard is specific to Wild Crops.
Wilderness Manufacturing:
Each batch of this nourishing and rich body butter is crafted in small batches at our remote “off-the-grid” wilderness facility located deep in the Northwest Territories boreal forest. Our entire facility is run using solar energy. This ensures that the air drying of the collected herbs is done in a location far from any pollutants or contaminations. All of our harvesting locations are in pristine virgin forests (old-growth), as here in the Northwest Territories of Canada, there has been very little development or natural resource activity over the years.
How to apply:
A gentle organic body butter suitable for daily use, for men or woman of any age. Apply using cleanly washed hands, massaging gently onto body. With prolonged use it improves skin radiance, aids in healing scars while softening the skin. Shea butter provides a natural SPF of 6-10, jojoba contains a natural SPF of 4.
